Class Description:
For the next installment of Art of Touch, we’re doing something a little different. We will be covering how to use a selection of tools to practice massage techniques on yourself when you are dealing with your own aches and pains. The art of self care with the assistance of tools! We will have a different selection of tools for every edition of the self care class (with some repeats for highlights). This particular class will focus on the Theracane, Lacrosse ball, and silicone cups, as well as using your own hands and elbows.
In this interactive and hands-on lesson, we will be going over which situations to use which tools, and several different techniques to use them effectively on different areas of the body. There will be time at the end for more of a Q&A so attendees can ask for personalized techniques if they haven’t been covered in class already. Come join us for an evening of getting in touch with yourself and building your own body awareness and relaxation!
What to Expect:
This workshop provides a relaxed, exploratory space to get to know your own body better and pick up tools you can use long after class ends.
Doors open at 6:45pm, class starts at 7pm SHARP! Please be on time!
