Class Description:

For the next installment of our "Art of Touch" series, we welcome you and your partner to delve into the soothing art of neck and shoulder massage. Offering a neck and shoulder massage is a beautiful way to express care and help your partner unwind, relieving the daily tension that often builds up in these areas. This workshop is ideal for couples who want to enhance their bond through mindful touch and thoughtful acts of service.

In this engaging and hands-on session, you’ll learn the basics of neck and shoulder anatomy, along with techniques to provide a calming massage that will leave you both feeling more connected and relaxed. The techniques are adapted for use in everyday settings, making them easy to learn and incorporate into your daily life.

What to Expect:

  • Basic Anatomy: Get familiar with the structure of the neck and shoulders and understand how to safely manipulate these areas and avoid injury.
  • Hands-On Techniques: Discover effective massage and acupressure techniques designed for the neck and shoulders, focusing on specific points that help ease tension and boost intimacy.
  • Body Mechanics for Comfort: Learn how to use your hands and body efficiently to make your massage sessions feel comfortable and last longer, ensuring both you and your partner enjoy the experience without fatigue.

What to Bring:

  • Mats and oil will be provided, but feel free to bring your own massage table or personal oil.
  • Please bring a pillow for the receiver to lean on.
  • Please wear tops that can be easily moved (or removed) to expose the shoulders. i.e. tank tops, tube tops, or loose, wide-necked shirts.

This workshop aims to create a nurturing space for you and your partner to build a deeper connection through the art of touch. Join us for an afternoon dedicated to relaxation, bonding, and learning a skill that brings joy and comfort into your daily lives!
