It's time for the summer solstice version of this beloved performance night! SubSpace Seattle and Seattle Shibari bring you a sensual evening of performance and play, featuring international rope artists Jonathan Ryan & the lovely Sappho.

The evening will begin with an intense performance of Kinbaku: the sensual art of Japanese-style Rope Bondage. Following the performance, SubSpace will host a BDSM-themed afterparty/play party at the event space, featuring SubSpace’s awesome collection of sexy furniture and props! 

All ticketholders who stay for the afterparty will be briefed on SubSpace Consent Policies.

Attendance is limited. 18+

Some seating for the performance portion of the evening might be on the floor, so please bring a cushion to sit on.

About the artists:

Jonathan (Seattle Shibari) is an international rope artist who performs worldwide, bringing the art of kinbaku to sold-out audiences in Paris, Rome, Shanghai, London, Athens, Tokyo, Barcelona, Los Angeles, and others. 

Sappho is an unabashed lover of rope who brings a dancer’s sensibility and sensuality to her kinbaku. She has taught and performed with Jonathan in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

For Jonathan & Sapho, kinbaku is the intersection of emotion, sensuality, and deep intention, weaving a unique story between two people every time.
